lacking sources

So as I'm going through my sources I'm realizing that I'm lacking primary sources.  Maybe I'm struggling finding good sources for domesticity in the south because there just aren't any?  But that doesn't seem likely, all those women had time to do was write letters and in journals.  Well, maybe that's not true, but they defiantly did have time to write.  I'll keep looking but I'm worried I won't find them by Thursday for the bibliography with the proposal.  Any ideas?

  1. Try looking at online journals through the MSU website. You can type in the years in which the items were written so it forces the topics to come from the time period that you want! (i.e. i typed in from 1800 to 1910) Good luck!

  2. Go to the archives and talk to the people there. I bet they could help you find some sources or point you in the right direction! Also, did you look on the MSU Library website yet? I know in the index's section is a link for primary sources. This might have some good sources for you!

  3. I typed in "civil war women" and this was what came up... maybe it will help!
